So I´ve been browsing through Play-Asia, and noticed there were a lot of DS games based on anime. I also recently found out that you don´t need any special chips or anything to play imported games on your DS.
So here´s the question, any Japanese DS anime based games that you like?
There were several Naruto games, a Bleach game (which I got to play earlier today and liked very much), and that new ¨D.O.N.¨ with all the Shonen Jump characters. Anyone actually play/own these games?
I ask for people to post even if they don´t like the game, remember to tell us why, so we know to steer clear from those titles.

I played D.O.N., altho I'm pretty sure it's only for PS2 and Gamecube. That game... man I have such mixed feelings, because it's really fun to play with friends, but some of the characters (Zoro, Chopper, Sakura) are really not so hot. It's good if you like smash brothers, but characters take forever to unlock. (I've played through single player mode on very hard about 20 times and still have 2 characters left to unlock)
Also altho this is going off topic do NOT order any Bleach games for PS2, they're all pretty atrocious.
If I had a DS I'd make Shonen Jump Allstars top priority. Playing as Bobobo = awesome.
Naruto DS games I know nothing about, besides heresay on the net that they are pretty good.

Definitely go for the Bleach game. You can even play that game on WiFi, and there are a good number of active players in America to challenge (or you can go worldwide and suffer just the slightest lag).

Yeah, there's not a ton of games based on anime for the DS yet, and since Naruto and Bleach is still pretty popular, you see many more coming down the pipe. But as it goes, SJ All Stars if your a big Shonen Jump and/or fighting fan. As far as I heard, Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei is pretty good for an action game line up, Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan for RPG and Naruto fan, and Urusei Yatsura: Endless Summer for date sim lover. From the looks of upcoming releases, there's not a whole coming out, games based on anime, for the handheld.

Sorry to slightly derail the topic here, but I was wondering if people could possibly recommend some game import sites while we're here. I've recently heard of Play-Asia and my brother knew of Lik-Sang. Are those the 'biggest players' or are there better/preferred sites out there?
Like joel, I only recently learned that DS games are universal, so my interest in importing games has just been recently sparked. I didn't even know any site where I could import games 3 days ago.

I heard Shonen Jump Superstars is a really good anime game, and it has a lot of characters from SJ too.I've never played it though so, you just have to take my word i guess.

I would say stick with play-asia. When I compare Amazon.co.jp to play-asia, I find very much the same prices, so it is definitely a good site. Plus it is very reliable.
