I just reported a bunch of errors for the names of the episodes of Shin Taketori Monogatari Sennen Joô.
There are a lot more mistakes in the episode names and I'm feeling too lazy to keep hitting the ERR button and correcting them The romanized names can be found HERE and the original Japanese names for the episodes can be found HERE. I reported errors for eps 5-15 I believe it was, (some were close enough to the translations so I skipped them, so it was more like 7-8 corrections). Even a Babel Fish/Nifty Globalgate/Google Translate would give you better eps names than some of the ones that are there. No offense meant to the original contributor. Please correct all the incorrect entries. I can post the proper names here (as best I can translate them) if you need them. |

Apparently the original contributor translated everything from German according to this page. Of course, translating Japanese to German then English can create lots of errors.
I'm afraid that I've never watched Queen Millennia so I can hardly tell how "bad" the original translations were. However, there's no need to post episode titles here on the forum; why not submit more appropriate episode titles yourself? I'll get rid of older ones once you've completed.

I did post more appropriate titles, and while some aren't too far off, eps5... I have no idea where that came from at all as the original version doesn't even Yayoi's name in it. LOL
And still, I meant no offense to the original contributer, and knowing it came from Japanese to German then to English it makes a little sense that they aren't completely accurate. The only reason I didn't want to post more appropriate titles is... I'm lazy. I posted a few as error reports, but got tired clicking back and going through the mess again. 
I'll look at it this weekend and supply more appropriate translations as time permits. |
