Although I have an intense love for Ouran, I can't imagine this being very good. I just have a feeling that most of the interactions are just going to be appear to be very awkward. Ah well, we'll see what happens in July.

Don't judge to fast, we haven’t seen anything of this yet. I'm willing to see it, I would give it a chance.

I'm kind of excited... I'm hoping it goes well and I'm not disappointed! I really like Yamamoto Yusuke...so him being attached to this makes me want it to work out even more. ><;

Actually, being a huge fan of J-Dramas, I'm hoping this would do pretty well. It just depends on the drama timeslot and which station is going to be broadcasted on, because there's a possibility they might have to compete with some really great dramas and well-known variety shows.

Since this is going to be a romance-comedy drama, this is really fitting for the two leads in this. Besides, they're way too underrated, so hopefully this could work out for them! (Like how Matsumoto Jun and Inoue Mao gained fame from Hana Yori Dango!)

After all, Yamamoto Yusuke is extremely funny if you watched the live-action version of Hana Kimi and this other drama called Atshinchi no Danshi. (Plus he's in the new Paradise Kiss movie!) So, hopefully, he'll get his big break here!

Meh, I would much rather have a second anime series than this. How can any mere humans hope to capture the sheer fabulousness of the Host Club without seeming, well, cheesy?

I'll hope for the best, but I'm not optimistic.

I have to admit that this kind of worries me. The most interesting aspect of the show was its intensely ridiculous and satirical humor, much of which depended on visual gags that are going to be pretty much impossible to translate to live action without being cheesy and stupid-looking.

That being said, I may actually give this one a shot, if only to see how they handle the transition.

I hear that Variety heard that Leonardo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves are being solicited for the project, and Will Smith's son too so there's no whitewashing.... Laughing

FINALLY!!!

For those not familiar with them, J-dramas of shoujo manga are often pretty fantastic (Hana Kimi being a sad but prominent exception, but consider how hugely popular stuff like HanaDan and Nodame are!). Sometimes they play up the humor more to go for a wider audience, but in those cases they sometimes end up even funnier than the original, so this would be gold for Ouran.

Also, Yamamoto Yusuke was my number one choice for Tamaki, so this is going to be awesome. A little afraid Kawaguchi will be too cute to pull of Haruhi though...

if it's anywhere near as good as the live action adaption of yamato nadeshiko shichi henge (The Wallflower) I'll be happy. I'd be lying if I said I didn't almost piss myself when I saw this
