Anime title help

I was hoping you guys can help me identifiy an anime. It's an anime I watch a few years back. It's quite an old anime.

At the time when I watched it, it was chinese dub and all I can remember was there are people fighting each other with magical weapons.

The main character I believe is a high school student. He uses a magical orb with the character "Fire" writen on it. There's a scene I remember where he was fighting another guy in front of a fountain. The other guy uses the power of water.

I hope that you guys can give me some ideal of what's the name of this anime.

Wrong. Both of you are wrong. From his description the anime he watched is one of my all time favourites: Flame Of Recca. The episode he watched was episode 4 when Hanabishi Recca encounters Tokiya Mikagami. Recca is the one fighting with the power of fire while Mikagami fights with his Ensui which utilizes the power of water which came from the fountain he mentioned.

Anyways theres a thread where you can ask these types of questions.
