Kind of ironic, considering most Bandai merch is made in China to begin with.

Ya know if I didn't read the actual article itself, I would've been confused with when the title said "suit," it meant either a lawsuit or mobile suit.

It's not ironic at all. The reasons these bootlegs exist is because the toys are made in China. People steal the molds (or reverse engineer them) and make their own shoddy versions.
This specific company in particular was notorious for manufacturing a large bulk of the bootleg Beyblade merchandise that hit North America in that series' first run.

You're correct on that one. Also, because we outsourced a lot of thing to China, bootleg production in China has happened for a long time. Also, I knew ANN would write up this article sooner or later. I first heard about this from Kotaku.

Hopefully this doesn't mean China-dam needs to be taken down. I love China-dam.
China-dam for next G Fighter Chinese representation?
