According to sources, 4Kids is out of their Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Their exit was announced on December 13, 2012.
"Law360, New York (December 13, 2012, 12:28 PM ET) -- A New York bankruptcy judge sent 4Kids Entertainment Inc. on its way out of Chapter 11 protection Thursday, overruling an objection by the American Kennel Club Inc. over a licensing agreement and approving its reorganization plan, which calls for the full payment of claims. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Shelley C. Chapman confirmed the debtor's Chapter 11 plan following a brief hearing. The plan also calls for the preservation of common stock in the children's entertainment company. “The plan is confirmed; congratulations,” Judge Chapman said." http://www.law360.com/bankruptcy/articles/401401/4kids-plan-confirmed-over-license-partner-s-objection In addition, 8 days later, 4Kids was reincorporated as 4Licensing Corporation. This is their current logo: The reason why I'm posting this is because for some reason this hasn't been getting a lot of news. |

The Talkback forum is for threads that directly relate to news articles, columns, etc. that are published by the site. If you think this is newsworthy, report it to the proper people and have something published. Otherwise, please do not create threads on a whim for something that you think may or may not be interesting to everyone else just for the sake of having the information out there. Thanks.
