My personal opinion is that it is better than the anime. I didn't care for the anime ending as it really didn't resolve anything. The manga also develops characters better, particularly the Gung-Ho guns who, some of whom have bigger roles. I also liked Legato better as he is no longer just some mindless servant of Knives.

the artwork is too blurred and unrealistic for me to ever understand what the hell is going on. The stuff that wasn't in the anime make no sense the first time you read it.

Yeah, the manga does have the problem of being difficult to follow at times.
As for Legato I don't remember anything about him being a sex slave. That may not have been revelead yet in the volumes that have been released in the U.S. I'm just referring to the fact that sometimes he doesn't give a damn about Knive's plans and just wants to kill Vash himself.

Both are completley and perfectley excellent; both the manga and anime are worth a purchase/watch, I myself own both, and read them happily; Anime is more comic relief, and is more dramatic; where as the manga is more to the point; however it's pretty short tho. IMO, watch the anime first, then read the manga, that way u wont get confused by all the plot twists, that can be hard to follow in the manga.
