I've been wondering about Bleach, is there a reason that it is called Bleach, or just a random name? This question has been killing me, can anybody help?

there is a reason, but i forget what and where i read it. the reason has nothing to do with the anime.

Personally I thought the title was due to Ichigo's hair color. They do mention that his hair looks bleached. But I've been told that Bleach has a lot of rock references in it, and that the title comes from a Nirvana album.

It had nothing to do with the storyline, just the fact that Ichigo's hair is bright orange and it pisses off the "faculty", his hair is kind of a trademark of the series. |
