I must say it's not very impressive, other than the good use of overly large boob idea. It had some funy parts but that was about it, having the heavenly voice of Shimokawa Mikuni for their OP/ED helped a bit.
Anyone else seen this series?

To be honest, I didn't expect much of anything from the show. I did like it though. After everything finished, I thought it turned out better than what I had initially thought. It may not have been a thinking man's show or even that well done, but I like how it's pretty nicely wrapped up. Too often I finish a show with a cut off ending or a rushed ending.
The animation and music were both pretty nice and some of her gun techniques were quite cool. I've gotta say though, her back must really...really hurt.

I saw it.
I had low expectations, so I wasn't disappointed. The story and characters where mediocre at best but it was mildly entertaining. It served its purpose.

Uhuh (nods head to previous comments)
I must agree with the previous statements. I guess the idea for the show was just a bit off from today's current taste, and maybe the characters could've been a bit more on the badass side. Maybe they were aiming it at a niche market of some sort... (guess we'll never know).
Some of the gun moves were quite orginal though, primarily the point blank six shot from spare barrel.

The series as a whole was very enjoyable in my opinion.
Rushuna's personality was a rather bipolar one.One minute she'd act rather ditzy, the next, she'd show her true smarts, particularly where weapons were concerned.

It wasn't the best I've seen by any means but it did have it's moments. I don't know if it was made to be cheesy but succeeded in providing me with some cheap laughs which is always good. Some of action scenes were pretty cool like Rushina's battle with Tenshi's double. Yay for Gun-Katta.

I really agree with everyone here. It lookes supremely fan servicey, but was a bit (a very little bit) deeper than I anticipated. Over all, not a bad story.
But you must have seen the box before watching it - don't tell me you were expecting Citizen Kane!

Some of the ideas that were in the background in the first volume intrigued me. I wondered who this masked man was, where was Rushuna from, and why was her boss setting her up? I was dissapointed by the answers to many of those questions when the series concluded. I expected the last episodes to take a Scrapped Princess, or Trigun syled twist explaining some interesting origin of the character and setting, but instead the series played itself out as expected.

I wasn't really too impressed with Grenadier, but it did improve within the last four episodes or so. Still, I think it was too light hearted and cheesy for my tastes.
