Yeah you know alot of the appeal for Shippuden is that it was alot more mature then the original and with Disney as the channel showing it it's gonna be edited all to hell.

Well, maybe not it's Disney not Disney as in Hannah Montana reruns. I think it's just an extra channel, but Disney is suprising to get this.

At first I'm all "ughhh". Not a bad ugh like "rats!". Kind of was guessing that it would hit adult swim, or Sci fi, but this is good as well. Hopefully they'll have it like a every week day thing instead of once a week showing. At least it'll join up with Static Shock and Batman, which are other shows on there that I have interest in.

I think Disney is a programming block on the Disney channel. I cannot be sure as I don't watch the channel but my niece and nephew do quite a bit.
However even so it's still a horrible idea because it's gonna be edited.
Nightmares of Card Captor Sakura being butcher enter my mind(Yeah I know Disney was not involved with it)

considering an unedited DVD has always been an option, I wouldn't fret over that issue too much - the thing I'm concerned over is seeing Viz or Disney pull the plug over poor ratings since Disney is not basic cable...then again, maybe Disney could use it as a selling point? It will be interesting to see.

All I can say is watch it on Hulu or some other streaming...thing. It might not be dubbed, but at least it won't be edited to hell.

Seriously?
That's what came to mind when I read this. Never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed Naruto Shippuden would hit Disney .
I guess it will be a wait-and-see for if it gets edited. Either way, DVDs for me unless upgrading my satellite package is worth seeing Naruto dubbed earlier.

It's not like Cartoon Network didn't edit it anyway and Disney X D is what replaced Toon Disney and aims to a slightly older boy demographic, so if you had Toon Disney, you should be getting Disney X D
