To bad I work New Years Eve, otherwise I'd watch just to see why its so popular. But, I need money. The ultimate anime paradox

Money to buy Anime.
Time to watch Anime.
Time needed to make Money.

Well, it shouldn't be old news. If you see it, send it a note to news desk. But for some of us that not in the know, it's news to us.

12 oz Mouse is also having a marathon on New Years Day. You got to take the good with the god awful.

Well, this is actually the best thing to show, as no one will be home to watch this. Well done, Cartoon Network! Very Happy

Who would honesty sit down for 17 episodes? Heard its a good series but the dub is apparently terrible. I've seen the first episode dub and yeah, it was quite horrible.

Whoo-hoo! I love both the sub and the dub the same and I'm glad they're going to show 17 episodes, assuming they're going to be new ones.

The dub really isn't awful. I honestly don't understand why people hate it. The main reason people think that the voice acting is bad is only because they have gotten used to the Japanese voice acting.

Many of the edits done have not changed the story whatsoever, and a surprisingly large amount of blood and violence was left in. To be honest, I don't think they've really edited that much at all. I don't think people realize that many dubs are actually getting better and that not every dubbing company is 4Kids.

Ha ha ha.

No.

Unless you're talking about Naruto and Sakura's voices, then yes, they suck. But everyone else is great. Yuri Lowenthal is terrific as Sasuke. And you can't tell me that the almighty Steve Blum isn't great as Zabuza. BLASPHEMY! Laughing

I'll be working on New Year's Eve, I'm sure.

But hey, maybe some kids who have to stay at home will get a kick out of this.

I seem to be getting flashbacks of Toonami running these same marathons of DBZ for New Year's Eve back in the day. Something like "New Year's Evil." or something...

By the way, what is Adult Swim after the Ninjathon?
