As the title suggests, why do think ADV would have passed on this series?
As the Neon Genesis franchise is winding down (come on, they can't have anymore dvds to release), I would have thought that this was the perfect opportunity for Full Metal Panic! to become their showpiece franchise.
The only (sensible) reason that I can think of is that WOWOW were asking for too much money and/or unacceptable contract terms for licensing.
Anyone else out there care to speculate/enlighten this FMP! fan?

They'll license it when they're ready. Who knows, they may already have it, but have yet to announce it.

If they had Licensed it, they would have stated so.. It's fine if they take there time. Doesn't matter when they license it to me. Besides It gives them time to get out the anime they Licensed already but have done nothing with.

It took a while for Fumoffu to become licensed too. Just be patient and someone, hopefully ADV for consistency, will announce the license for it.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, Fumoffu was licensed in May 2004 and volume 1 wasn't released until a full year later, this past May. I've seen TSR so I'm not in any hurry to see it dubbed, but I am looking forward to a few of the episodes, to see how the English VAs pull them off.

They weill license it. As far as I know the first two series were big enough that they would make money off of the second raid. Just be patient.
