Ugh, this really made me angry. I spent an hour writing a letter to Ryoko Shintani, but the email address you guys gave was apparently invalid. Here's what the email I recieved back said:
So, can you guys please take her email address off of her profile? |

That looks like a connectivity issue (there's a lot of that on the 'net recently), not a problem with the e-mail address. There is no reason to believe that an error exists in the address we have. Try again, and if that doesn't succeed, try sending a (polite and avoiding phrases like "I'm so angry") query to the [email protected]. - abunai |

Sorry, I didn't make it that clear and I should have, but my anger was directed more at the fact that I can't get the letter I wrote back, rather than me thinking you guys had an invalid email address. I should have specified, sorry. Now to write that letter again... this time I'll save it before I send it.
Edit: Boy am I an idiot, its right there in the "sent mail" section. Guess there was no reason for me to get angry in the first place  .

Oh, I wrote to her in English, but even though she may have not understood alot of it I was hoping she would at least find some interest in my email over others as speaking English is considered cool in Japan. I know that she does speak some English though.

FYI: I don't know about her, but most Japanese fora and bulletin boards (e.g. most fora on 2ch and those message boards on official sites of persons or companies) do not welcome foreign languages, similar to ANN's "proper English" policy. Just a little reminder. |
