Due to an attempt to rein in my non-essential spending, I haven't placed on order with TRSI since its new shipping system for Canadian customers went into effect at the beginning of the year. At some point, however, I will be ordering and I was wondering:
1) Who actually delivers your package - Canada Post? Fedex? Other?
2) If there is no one around to accept the package, do they just leave it at the address? Or do they leave a notice saying they tried to deliver and give an address where you can pick up the package?
Thanks in advance.

FedEx delivered mine. I wasn't around to sign for it, so they let the person in the upstairs apartment sign for it (which I didn't really like). I've only ordered from TRSI once since the new system, so I don't know what happens when there is no one around to sign.

1) Fedex
2) You can certainly have your package shipped to a work address if available. Fedex will determine whether or not to leave the package, and will leave a note if they don't feel it's safe to leave it.
All taxes are prepaid, so you save the collection fee.
Delivery should be quick - within 3-4 business days total.

Thanks jmfsilenthill and Shawne K.! Man, 3 to 4 business days, that's awesome. My question was really prompted by the fact that I'm expecting to make an order or two during the 13 Days of Christmas sale and I'd have the packages sent to our office. Problem is that the office closes down over the holiday and I won't be at my home address, either. But if packages only take 3 to 4 business days, than I should be okay.

I'm not sure if there are FedEx Stores in Canada, but if you call FedEx they will deliver it to one of their stores and you can just go and get it.
For some reason they can never find my house so...yea.. That's how I have to get all my FedEx stuff.
