Just a heads up - amongst the nominees for the 100 greatest family movies are My Neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away, along with honourary Ghibli movie Kirikou and the Sorceress (actually French, but the Japanese translation was written by Isao Takahata and distributed by Ghibli) The other animated movies are 101 Dalmations, Aladdin, Aristocats, Bambi, the Bear, Beauty and the Beast, Belleville Rendez-Vous (Triplets of Belleville), A Bug's Life, Chicken Run, Dumbo, Fantasia, Finding Nemo, the Incredibles, the Iron Giant, the Jungle Book, The Lion King, Monsters Inc, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Shrek, Snow White, Toy Story, Watership Down and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. |
