Talk about an incomplete summary! Are they doing the cute things cutely? A "cute girls doing cute things cutely" show is one thing, a "cute girls doing cute things in a boring way", an entirely different thing.

This will be the first KyoAni series that'll be simulcasted so let's take advantage of this. And no, I don't think this will be the next K-ON!; it'll probably sell well like 10,000+ because of KyoAni track record.

I thought this was going to be the next Azumanga Daioh, but it looks more like a Lucky Star type of show. Oh well, I love LS.

Humour in Nichijou has nothing to do with kawaii-ness nor parody. It is more of 'throwing your brain to the trash bin and shake it madly to make milkshake out of it' type humour, and that's an area where Shaft is good at. Kyoani is doing some gambling here.
