Oh wait. According to Amazon, Tamers does have subs. I only half-rescind my earlier comment; Adventure and 02 should get a subbed release.

You can't be too sure if it does have subs and if its just the (edited) English dub only.

Amazon never updates their releases until later. It's the dub release, the very same one I'm watching right now.
I wouldn't mind a sub release later down the road, but I'm never going to watch it subbed. Dubbed all the way for me.

Yes, the DVD came in the mail today and I can confirm it's dub-only.

I really want a sub-release too. If they keep putting these out, I'm assuming they're doing well? I know Discotek is doing an edited dub AND a sub release for Monster Rancher (which is far less popular) so I'd really like it if Digimon could get a sub release too. I'll totally buy it.
For now, I have Crunchyroll (although I wish Adventure and some others could be streamed if it's not gonna be on DVD).

I finished the first volume... The second can't come soon enough!
I never got around to watch the anime but I'm glad I picked up the manga, can't wait to see how the story developed and how Shion and "Rat" Develope as characters.

stupid quesion but i can just go to amazon and buy it right? I checked the page and its at 30 somethigng dollars but the retail says 70 something why is it cheaper online?

That's because it's on sale right now and I suggest getting it at the 30-something price, unless you want to wait for it to go back to 80.
