This seems like an interesting film. Hope that it makes a debut at the Japan Society or NYAFF.

Most likely, it will. Kore-eda is pretty well regarded in film circles, and has produced some fine work. His films are very quiet and powerfully drawn, with emotions simmering just below the surface. Though Still Walking is currently his most well-known work, my favorite would be Nobody Knows. His stuff (for some reason) reminds me of Edward Yang, especially YiYi.
