Cartoon Network probably wont put an hour of Naruto together. (Unless they feel generous in giving us two episodes per night, but I doubt it wholeheartedly)They will more then likely put in another show to fill the hour block. =(

I'm not watching Naruto then. I watched Dbz and that took forever.

It would be nice though if they did. I mean some of the episodes of Naruto did appear as an hour block. But the question like I said earlier was whether CN will be nice enough to put this to effect. If not, would they give a new episode later in the programming that evening. But in my mind I dont believe they would do such a thing. The history with CN has lead me to believe its one episode per toonami showing. Although, since they are changing the format around in sept. maybe they will change thier views on this.

I've never seen naruto anime or read the manga i heard its about ninjas and that a lot of people compare it to dbz. is it a ¨kid¨ show? or will it be edited into a kid show for toonami purposes? i dont like one piece so i hope it gets replaced but im scared something crapyer will take its place.

Yes, it is a children's program, but will still be edited due to the fact that Japan and the United States have somewhat different ideas as to what can and cannot be allowed in children's programming. However, don't let the fact that it was originally intended for kids dissuade you (hell, shows like DBZ, Fullmetal Alchemist, & Gundam SEED were similarly aimed young), because it's actually a really good series. It does tend to drag in its plot in places like DBZ did, but all in all it's an enjoyable program.

Yeah, see the thing is that CN only has 52 episodes of Naruto that they can broadcast, so aring 2 episodes a week would give them just over 6 months worth of material, while watching it 1 episodes at a time (like many fans have been doing for the last 3-4 years) gives them over a year worth of broadcast material. Plus on top of that there are other factors to take into concideration, like the number of episodes that have been dubbed thus far, showing 2 a week could get them caught up in a hurry and force re-runs long before it's necessary.

Anyway, this isn't an issue, because if I remeber correctly Bo-bobo is getting the other half of that open timeslot

Isn't CN showing the first 2 episodes on Sept. 10 from 9-10PM and rerunning them from 10-11PM? Chances are they'll change it to 9PM only starting on the 17th (the following week) meaning we'll have some other crap from 9:30-11PM.

And it'd be nice if they'd show One Piece uncut on weeknights like they're doing with DBZ.

One Piece is terrible anyways, it's not like it matters whether or not it stays, IMO.

Wait, you're contradicting yourself. You DO miss the old Toonami or you DON'T?
