Amano and Uematsu together again? For some new RPGs?
While it would be reckless to jump the gun here about the prospects of success, I actually feel giddy about this considering that these two men associate themselves with quality and passion in their work. Maybe we might see a rebirth of simple, quality RPGs again. 
And that military-themed song in that second video was just cheesy. But, it still brought a smile to my face.

On one hand, this has my attention as it's a noticeable move away from the type of games that Compile Heart normally makes that make we want to run away. On another hand, it's still Compile Heart and well yeah they don't really make good games.

Nobuo was in Neptunia Victory and contributed a song, so he does have a friendly relationship with them so this isn't a surprise to see. Amano though doesn't really fit with Compile Hearts typical art style so that will be different.

This excites me. I love Uematsu's music so much, and I've yet to hate Compile Heart; Neptunia is just a great series thus far xD
Hoping this goes over well so we'll see them group up more. |

So, we have a promo resembling Shingeki no Kyojin, a song fitting WWII, and "cute girls". ... What was it about again? They will harass turtles or something?

I am excited for this combination to come together again, especially since Amano had pretty much retired from character designs last time I talked to him.
However... Compile Heart? Really? The it's-moe-so-whatever-shit-we-put-out-it-doesn't-matter-it'll-still-sell company? I worry for this game. However, I am excited to see what will come of it. |
