I was actually at the event where this was announced last week. Sad news. The girl behind me was actually crying and I could hear sniffles throughout the venue. ^^;

The thing is, most of these voice actors are in UtaPri, or in other bishonen anime or games together, so you can hear them/see them anyway. That might be why they haven't produced anything in so long.

There's something special when they're all together though. I don't know if you've seen any of their previous events but they're hilarious! It's not the same when they're just at an event for a series they're in together. To the editor: Their official unit name is Nazo no Shin Unit STA☆MEN, so I think it would be more correct to write their name as STA*MEN rather than STAMEN. (Suwabe is pretty particular about this... He says that if you're writing it in romaji then it's written as ＳＴＡ☆ＭＥＮ and not STA☆MEN (double-byte characters, not single). |

I assume that the band will be on a hiatus, but will they take a brake from voice acting as well?

No, it's just the unit. The 7 guys will of course still be voice acting. |
