I checked the Japanese Bones website for any information on this, but I didn't find any. Anyone else out there have any links? Pictures? Information?

The thought of Kawamoto working with Okamura is one that makes me feel all tingly.

IIRC "Wolf´s Rain" was announced at the New Century Tôkyô Animation Fair ealier this year. First I thought it could be the project Kawamoto talked about at last year´s (the one with the Bebop team) Otakon. And with him as character designer and Keiko Nobumoto as story editor it seems to fit. Hence I were a little surprised that the director won´t be Watanabe. I guess we have to wait some months more untill more details become available. Currently it seems likely that this series will debut in October. BONES has mentioned the work on "Wolf´s Rain" in the studio´s online diary which you can find at the HP. I am not sure about the story either. Obviously the NEWTYPE article suggests that it´s gonna be an action anime, I´ve also heard that it´s high fantasy.

Well shoot, thanks for the info. Guess I should just be a bit more patient then, huh?

And I'm mostly interested in this to see what Tensai Okamura is capable of after directing the hi-larious "Stink Bomb" segment in Otomo's Memories, my FAVORITEST MOVIE EVAR.

That'd be nice.. since high quality, high fantasy anime is far between.

RoLW. Berserk (which I'd call low fantasy, myself....

...

... yeah.

I'd consider Berserk "dark fantasy".

Okay I am confused.... I have been trying to find out information on this series, but I keep getting conflicting reports of how many episodes this series is going to have. I was hoping someone here would know... I like this series and can't wait for it to come here.

Thanks Very Happy
