The Yuu Yuu Hakusho area is a real mess, especially the OVAs. I posted something about this before but nobody responded.
Eizou Hakusho actually consists of TWO separate volumes, but they're squished together on one page right now. Plus, the old picture up there is from the wrong OVA, so it should be removed. I submitted an appropriate one. Eizou Hakusho II is actually FOUR volumes, and they're all squished together on one page right now too. And there is a 7th OVA not listed on this site at all, called the "Opening Ending Encyclopedia". It has all kinds of new clips past the last episode of the anime. The YYH section itself is getting pretty messy, with all kinds of duplicate titles, etc. I have every bit of correct information as far as this series is concerned, and I'd like to get it out there to the fans, especially because this site is well-known and trusted. Picture problem solved.
OVAs were shipped one volume after another, so they were considered as different episodes of the same title, not as separate titles. I've added 'Number of episodes' for (and credited to) you.
Hmm, I'm not so sure about whether to add this as a separate title or not. It is more like a collectable item rather than a title.
Duplicates? Let's see: one manga, one TV series, two OVAs, and two movies, right? However, if it's episode titles you are talking about, then it's another story: removing and reorganizing episode titles is a 100% manual work, which is extremely time consuming and tiresome. Furthermore, since I'm not very familiar with YYH I'd rather handle problems of other titles that I'm confident with first. |

Wow, spectacular mess indeed. I fixed up the first 20 episode titles, but getting through the other 92 is going to take a while. Thanks for pointing this out!

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear about the episode titles being the messy part, but it's looking much better now. I didn't realize it was so much work for you guys to change them. If you need a list of the episodes, I have the Japanese ones translated on my site, although I think they're all here on the site already. As for Opening Ending Encyclopedia, I'm still pushing it to be added. It's not just a collector's item, it includes 9 brand new animation clips not found anywhere else, so that alone qualifies it for an OVA, does it not? |
