In Kanokon and 2 other animes, there is a theme called, "Perverted Female Character". Normally I'd be fine with this theme however, this theme is more broadly covered by ecchi or or couple other things. Plus theres a lot of anime with perverted female characters that do not have "Perverted Female Characters" as a theme.

I think the reason for the theme is that 'perverted female character' is much more of a sub-trope to ecchi. It would be redundant if it meant the same thing but it doesn't. A lot of ecchi shows do not contain a perverted female character. Hence it does bear distinction.
As for shows that have such a character but are not tagged as such, that just means that they should be. You should add it to them if you feel it is appropriate. |
