Does anyone know if cartoon network is planning on airing any new episodes of Yu Yu Hakusho?

Well, I think there are only between 20 and 30 more episodes for them to air before the end of the series, and I believe they are just waiting on Funi to get them ready before they can start airing them...

I don't know how far along Funimation is in finishing dubbing YYH, but the time frames that I would watch would be Fall 2005 (less likely) and Spring 2006. I don't know exactly how long it takes to dub an episode (or set of episodes for a DVD), but since CN has been showing them at 1 episode per week, they could start playing new episodes before Funi is actually completed with all episodes.

We should be seeing them soon, probably as part of the new fall lineup, if not sooner. Dubbing should be well over with by now, since the last DVD (32) comes out around July or August. I'd be really surprised if it takes until next year (or even this winter) for them to start showing on Toonami again.

New episodes would be nice. I always liked Yu Yu Hakusho, buy will they pick up with Chapter Black or where they left of at the beginning of the series?

You mean, how they left off before Episode 10 when they started airing Zatch Bell? It's probably more likely that they will start at the beginning of the Chapter Black saga a while before new episodes (maybe a once-a-day run somehow, or else it'll need to start long before new episodes), or perhaps somehow halfway through the saga. Of course, they might just blitz people with Surprise! Yusuke's dead!!...

I wondered when he'd be coming back when I watched it. Because the main character usually doesn't die in the middle...

Or in the beginning. Of course, the banner ads kind of spoil it for people who didn't already know what happens...

Yeah, the ads do spoil it .Well, I know that Yusuke dies again, and becomes a demon and after that they begin the 3Kings arc of the show.

Currently, Funimation has dubbed through at least episode 103 with another volume (3 to 4 episodes) out as of two days ago. I'd get it but money is tight this month with all the stuff comming out.

I'm sure they are done with the dubbing. Vol. 30 comes out April 26 and has episodes 104-106. Which leaves only 8 more episodes in the series. I've got it in my rental queue at Netflix.

Best Buy must be putting out items early again then, they had it and Scrapped Princess vol. 1 on the shelf when I went there yesterday to buy some some audio cables.
