I find it a bit odd that this on this forum you can't make a little bio about yourself on your profile. It won't be bad if the members get to know each other a bit, right? You could limit the amount of characters the user types so it doesn't take up much space.

Also, background options for your profile. No pictures, because it might be a bit too...flashy I guess, but maybe a background color users could choose?

These are basic things a lot of forums have, how come this one doesn't have this stuff?

I know they're working on some site upgrades but I don't know if the forum software will change much. I think they might be stuck in a problem that if they upgrade too much they'll lose their old posts.

Plus, it may be old and not have all the bangs and whistles, but it ain't broke so I don't think there's a rush to "fix" it.

In the meantime, we're stuck with the introductions thread. But it is indexed.

Tempest has stated forum development is pretty much a nonpriority. They plan on switching to phpBB3 sometime in the nearish future and that's about it.

Agreed, as you can post that information in the introduction thread in the anime thread. Likewise if your a subscriber.

Yes the forum software may not be the most update version, but this still works well for it's intended purpose.
