It should have said "live-action TV" Honey and Clover. I only knew of the movie. Thank you Wikipedia.

I love how that video had nothing to do with actual gameplay lol...

Getting leve quest cards was the only thing accurate to the game...

Too bad the interface, grouping, and crafting are terrible still atm Sad

Hopefully the release build of the game will have some improvements over the open beta. I've played every version from the start of alpha to open beta and they've made a several changes in every upgrade so it makes sense that the release version will have improvements as well. I've had very few problems with the interface, though, my biggest issues are still in the dialogue boxes and archers being defenseless without arrows (unlike in FFXI).

Oh well, only one week left until the special edition comes out. I've been trying to play in moderation so I don't burn out by the time the game is here for real. I'm kinda tired of the Limsa Lominsa quests, I've played through them so many times now. Right now I'm taking a Miqo'te named Gasha Pon through Ul'Dah quests because I've decided to use my release character, Emerje Dirigo, in Gridania. I made another character for Limsa Lominsa, Cho Gokin (can you tell I'm a figure collector?) just so I could see the revised intro, I don't really care if I ever do another quest there again.

Anyway, the TV spots are pretty cool, they really put a lot of work into those costumes. Still looks like a LARP group, though. Laughing I haven't seen any English TV commercials, which is unfortunate for a game that's out in one week (two for regular players). Then again, Tanaka has been such a jerk towards non-Japanese players I shouldn't be surprised... Rolling Eyes

TOMA & FF! Never thought it would happen. I seriously imploded when I saw the commercial yesterday. He didn't get to debut with a band, which I dislike Johnny for, but man is on fire with his acting/CM career. \o/

Lol a cutscene no matter how cool is NEVER an advertisement for a game Anime hyper. I have long since learned that any game that won't come up with the gameplay goods is either a long way off completion or is going to suck.

The Akihabara @ DEEP TV series isn't based on the comic; they're both based, very loosely (the TV takes the characters – and not even that accurately – and makes them mystery solving teens), on the original novel. At least, that's the impression I get from here; according to that appreciation about the only connection between those as opposed to other incarnations that they both make Ism female.

They've actually been showing off in-game rendered footage in their trailers since the very first one as well as release several videos of the ground up designing process on the official FFXIV Youtube channel. And if that's not enough people have had plenty of time to give the open beta a try.
