There are persons using an unknown episode precision like this.

It helps if you include a link to the page to which you are referring.

If someone is going to be working on .Hack//Roots, it needs a link to .Hack//G.U. Trilogy, which is a sequel to Roots.

Well, I mainly know that from watching them. Roots was a prequel to the .Hack//G.U. games, while G.U. Trilogy was an adaptation of the events from the games themselves. Maybe one of the official sites explicitly describes it as a sequel, but since they are in Japanese I can't read them. Also the ANN review of G.U. Trilogy descibes it as coming after Roots, but I don't know if you can use something else from ANN as a source. |

I found two (other) sources: 1). CD Japan's product page for the .hack//Roots [Vol.] 01 DVD:
2). The .hack Conglomerate's .hack//G.U. game site—click the History button, and a .hack timeline appears in a popup window, which shows .hack//Roots precedes .hack//G.U. (The .hack Conglomerate's .hack//Roots and overall .hack sites may also give information, but they (like the other .hack sites) are in Flash, which prevents me from using machine translation on the Japanese text.) |
