Hopefully this will give them enough breathing room to right the ship. I'd hate to see them go down. Of course, the biggest boost they could get would be for this bleedin' economy to improve.

I really miss Borders, they don't have any branches in the UK any more and they had a much better selection that most other bookshops I've been in recently. I don't think they will return to the UK in a long time, if ever though.

Where I reside, there is only one Borders location and I really do think they will go out of business soon. I hope they don't go chapter eleven, but one must accept the harshness of reality.

But if and when Borders goes out of business, that will mean I will no longer have any close locations to buy manga anymore. Which isn't good for both parties, either directly involved or indirectly involved (such as the avid readers and supporters like myself.)

That's what the last CEO said, he resigned a year later.

Personally, I think they're simply delaying the inevitable, but that's just me.

Hopefully this somewhat improves the state of this poor company; I've gotten most of my manga from Borders and they have much better prices than Barnes & Noble's or Amazon Books.

Plus, I've got a soft spot for the underdogs. x3 LOL
