I was just rewatching this movie for the millionth time the other day. And this makes me so sad! Poor Granny.
Seems like she lived a good long life though. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

Alas, she will be remenbered by us Otakus as the voice of the kind Granny from My Neighbor Totoro. One of the first anime films I've seen as a kid way before I was even into anime.
