Negima (TV) included the Cinematography section but includes "(Transart; ep 1)" but has an error message in one character.
Japanese credits say "大谷誠志". English credits say "Ootani Motoshi". I'm not convinced this name reading is correct but we do not appear to have any other entries for them at present. |

There is no cinematography section, but there is one for "photography".
I believe I flagged the person in question as a possible error (i.e. you seem to have copied and pasted my error report into your post) as I wasn't convinced that FUNimation had translated the name correctly (i.e. Motoshi does not appear to be a valid reading for 誠志), however since I had my doubts and we did not appear to have any other listing for them anyway, rather than do anything about it immediately I left it as an error report for someone else to review, or in case more information came to light later (for example in the credits of later episodes). It is hard to check again now since you appear to have deleted the entry completely. |

Ah, I have the same 大谷誠志 photographer person of Trans Arts to enter right now.
(D2_STATION source for Kannazuki no Miko) ANN has two 誠志, both as Masashi; other EDICT readings would be Seichi and Seiji. Motoshi is also a name but the kanji look very different from 誠志 in all cases. I'd treat it as misspelling of Masashi. I was wondering whether I should create a new person for him but seeing this is being investigated by others I'll rather wait. |

I'm not actually investigating it - I flagged an error with the guys only credit as I didn't think his name was correct but since I wasn't 100% certain and was busy at the time I left it at that. 386sky has since deleted the credit completely so his entry is now empty:
person#86682 If you have credits for them and a probable romanisation, just enter it. |

Well, the probability between Seichi, Seiji and Masashi is in the 33% range for each; all I have beyond this would be that this "Motoshi" who has the same kanji name could be a spelling error of Masashi. Which is still way below my usual threshold for creating a person. Had there been, say, 10 Masashi with these kanji wouldn't hesitate.
