Maybe there's a good reason for this...

...But it seems to me that this spring's Anime Preview Guide is rather unfairly biased toward teenager and gamer interests. In particular I think a good many younger children or parents of younger children would probably sing the praises of Nanaka 6/17, and I think that younger girls (jr high-ish) might see a lot more value in Stratos 4 than Zac and Rebecca let on.

Anyone else think a younger viewer or parent's opinion might be in order for this sort of thing?

Just a thought

*Edit: Oh, and that link in the .hack summary to the Encyclopedia listing for Kite seems rather inappropriate. If I were in charge of the feature, I'd remove it. But that's just me.

Seeing as the lion's share of the audience at ANN consists of young males who, it's a safe bet to say, are into video games, the preview seems like a perfect fit. But Stratos 4 does seem more interesting than they let on, depending on how military life is portrayed.

Eh, I like it. Congratulations Zac, and to Rebecca as well. Nice to see you two writing together again. I like the he says/she says format, which is nice. Great job, guys.

Well, Licensed by Royal and Wolf's Rain were pretty much the only spring series that I was particularly interested in, and I'm glad to know that they're good.

So, yay!
