Very curious what this will be about. I'll take it. Hopefully it follows Hanabi, but since it's a spin off, someone else seems more likely.

I'm laughing very hard right now since I made an April Fool post on Facebook about this series getting a spin off (about Akane's past) and second season anime and some people really fall for it Laughing Now let's see whether the spin off went as I wrote or not.

It would be great if this spin-off is a yuri one that follows Hanabi and Ecchan even though it is very unlikely and just wishful thinking on my part.

Color me intrigued! I hope Crunchyroll picks it up from the start so I can continue reading whatever the author is writing... It would be nice if it followed Hanabi through college, but a prequel about Akane wouldn't be too bad, though you would always know the ending... Kind of like the Star Wars prequels...

"Spin-off" is a poor translation of this announcement. Rolling Eyes

番外編 doesn't translate to "spin-off" at all; it translates to "extra story".

番外編 can pretty much be about any character in the series. Which doesn't rule out Hanabi. Like everyone else, I hope it's about her. (though a little story about Moca would be great too.)
