She's been at ACEN and PMX along with Nabeshin, but I can't find a listing for her in the Encyclopedia. And maybe someone can link me to a site where I can see the covers for the manga, too, please?

The MCs at the cons may have referred to her as a mangaka and certainly she often introduces herself as a mangaka, but actually, Kidokoro Aoi is a media personality of a kind who does various things such as modelling, singing songs, MC'ing at events and so on. She released an indie 'magazine' that contained her manga (It reminds me of the first version of Weekly Nobita, which is a homemade magazine Nobita published in Doraemon.) and draws a manga for a girlie magazine, but probably it is doubtful that people can say she has a decent career as a mangaka proper. アイドル漫画家(笑) You might have thought that some manga by her were serialised in well-known manga magazines and she had already released some manga tankōbon through major publishing companies, though. |
