Awesome. I hope it gets a better time-slot this time on NTV. I remember seeing a newspaper article that somebody translated as basically saying that the TV execs were a bit ashamed (not the right word) that it was in the ~2 am time-slot when it is quite a family friendly show.

... That high lasted for about 30 seconds. Then I remembered season 2 of Moyashimon ... No, no. Cynicism will go away now. I will continue to bask in the silver linings of the clouds. I WILL BASK UNTIL I FALL INTO A RIVER OF FIRE!! It would be nice if the staff from the first season would stay mostly unchanged. |

They didn't have to make a whole new word for something that already exists. About time we got another season of Chihayafuru. Why the hell did they have to go and end the first season without resolving anything? Just spoiler[the main characters watching a karuta match on TV]! Now if we'd get another season of PSG, a third season of Big O (Sunrise and Cartoon Network OWE us! The Mass Effect fans said so), and reboots of Fruits Basket, Bleach, Inuyasha, Elfen Lied, His & Her Circumstances, Trinity Blood (The author's death was no excuse to end the anime with a [expletive] cop-out! We deserve better!), and Air Gear... |

There is no guarantee they will resolve everything this season either. Chihayafuru is an ongoing manga. It most likely will still be ongoing when this second season ends.
So if you expect major resolution you might be disappointed. If you are satisfied with excellent storytelling & great character development then there is nothing more to ask for. Well except maybe a license for the anime & manga. |

One of the best animes of fall 2011 and really excited for the 2° season... Haganai and this airing in January... couldn't ask for more...
