Apparently there is a printing error in CROQUIS, and TP has offered to replace it! Finally TP does something right! Very Happy I haven't received my copy in the mail yet, but I though I'd let other readers know.

Wow Tokyopop, what an avoidable error. Too bad you're too busy pumping out that Princess Ai crap to care about hiring actual proofreaders.

Has anyone gotten a copy of their replacement yet? I think it's been about a month since I sent my UPC in to Tokyopop and I still haven't gotten/heard anything from them yet :/

I sent mine in about 2 weeks ago, and haven't received mine yet. I live like, 30 minutes away from their headquarters so... =/ I hope I didn't butcher my copy for no reason.

I know it! BLU manga costs around$15.00 a book now too!! I really REALLY hope I get my copy soon otherwise I'm going to take a picture of my sad self with my cut copy of Croquis (with a sign that says THANKS TOKYOPOP) and plaster it all over the internet :[

It's been over a week...and I still have yet to hear a response from Tokyopop. This really sucks. I tried to make my email as un-rude sounding and concise as possible and I asked if they had or were sending out replacements for our manga.

So know a whole bunch of us are stuck with cut-up copies of Croquis. I don't know what to do from there. Should I go around a couple manga blogs and ask them for help? Or maybe I should just spam the Tokyopop webpage (that told us to send the UPCs in) with comments saying I never got my copy nor a response from them (and people shouldn't even bother cutting-up their copies)?

Ughhh!! Tokyopop!! This is why I don't like buying their manga!! D:

I think the manga blogs would be a good idea. I think at least they would get a response from TP faster than a random fan. =/ Meh. I kinda expected this. TP has had a flakey rep for a while now. I'm the dumb one for cutting my copy up knowing that. Sad

This really sucks for you guys Sad What's worse is that Tokyopop seems pretty notorious for not responding, or responding quickly. Keep at it, though--if you haven't, you might as well try posting on their forums. It doesn't seem very active with TP employees, especially after the lay-off, but maybe someone will notice.
