Wow. FMA2 and EotE both made it in the top 10. I'm somewhat surprised, really impressed and extremely happy to see this.

A late night show like Eden of the East scoring a 4.8 is unheard of.
I think the highest rating in recent history for an anime past 11 PM was the 3.5 or so that one of the previous Noitamina shows got. |

5.3 for FMA:Brotherhood at 5 PM on a Sunday evening...that's pretty good, right? I MUST check out this "Eden of the East" thing; a 4.8 at 12:45 a.m. is HUGE for any series. I wonder if it would work well on [adult swim] hahahaha!
Kinda blows that Shangri-La didn't make it; that's one of my favorite brand new series! |

Uwa~ I'm so glad to see Eden of The East and FMA: Brotherhood in the ranking since these two are the only ones I'm following this season.

The first episode of the first Nodame Cantabile series set the record at 5.4, with the previous record being Hajime Ippo's 4.8. Check it out here: animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=7010&page=22 |

Actually Nodame Cantabile and Hakaba Kitaro, for instance, got higher ratings. The Noitamina slot is REALLY popular, and it airs on Fuji, so it's not that unexpected. |

Same here. I certainly expected FMA2 to make it on the list to some degree (if, for nothing else than its impressive pedigree) but to see EotE, like you said, was very much a pleasant surprise. PleaselicensethemPleaselicensethemPleaselicensethem! |

FMA2 is licensed, that's why Funimation has been streaming it. |

Yay for Eden of the East! I'm quite surprised since the Japanese ranked it low on their Spring 09 expectations list. Great show; definitely deserves it.

Well, highest for an original work, then . Even so, that's some good ratings. |
