I'm a Journalist for the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism, and I'm writing an article about why Manga has become so huge.
Any information would be very helpful, and I will accredit you if I quote (I will ask permission before hand). Off the record comments are also useful.
Main areas include:
Australian-Japanese blend?
Do the books help multiculturalism?
What is the impact of the books on readers?
Are any Japanese related values coming through the books? Or Japanese lifestyle elements?
