Nice i wouldn't be surprised though if this was one of the many soon to be sentai sub licenses so let the sentai fest begin. also now if CR got SAO they'd have both of my most anticipated anime this season and that would be enough for another renewel for my subscription.

I hope there's a lot of BETA slaughtering action in this, and not just robots and fan service.

If by fan service, you mean glorious TSF vs TSF action? Then yes. Yes, it pretty much is fan service. There's a reason I call it Muv Luv Plus Top Gun Edition. I'm not sure I dig this though. Assuming it follows the same pattern as usual, I'm expecting to hear Sentai licensed it. Don't get me wrong. I like Sentai dubs and all but I have the issue of it becoming another IS (Faux accents everywhere. In this case, where they don't belong.) and considering Funi released the KimiNozo anime a while back, I'd personally prefer them getting it. But Opinions and all. Also; hopeful Crunchyroll gets the names and what not right. Still have bad memories of the SRW OG2 anime, what with "Brit" and all(Yeah, I know they fixed it. It's still weird.) |

This is what I was worried about. The Coup d'état arc was the least interesting part of the VN. I only really got excited when they waded hip-deep into endless waves of BETA. The horror of a merciless and never ending swarm of monstrous aliens is more "fresh" than your standard robot-vs-robot combat. |

Looks like TVTokyo is the publisher for this. Hope that means Worldwide outside Japan.

sentai could still of sub licensed it to CR since dusk maiden, medaka box and queens blade rebellion all listed media factory as the publisher and sentai still got all of those three. but since tv tokyo is the publisher it'll probably be worldwide outside of japan which is good. |

Odd that the only Satelight anime CR didn't get was Aquarion EVOL.

I'm still hoping that it eventually gets license. Funi has Genesis but I've no idea how well it performed in the US or Japan. I'm looking forward to this Muv-Luv adaption. I've never really got into the whole franchise but I hold some special interest in it - hopefully it won't disappoint but I haven't place too much hopes or any for the matter on series this season. |

Actually, I'm dumb, I forgot about AKB0048 as well. Since those shows are all Kawamori babies, that might play into it, Satelight et al can ask a much higher price for license when they have that dude's name attached. I would, since that's how you market less-than-stellar works from a guy who used to be huge back in the 80s. |

I'll take a look at this series. I'm not all that familiar with the Muv Luv stories, but the trailer for this series looked somewhat interesting.
