Hi Guys and Gals,

I posted a message on S'more Entertainments wall about Monster. Basically about how the show is fully dubbed, been broadcasted on syfy in its entirity and yet isnt availalble on DVD. And that for a company like them 'IF' they can get it from Viz for DVD rights since Viz show no interest in trying to release this on DVD themselves anymore then in my opinion it would be a surefire winner (enthusiastic fan talk basically)

Now obviously i think the chances of this deal happening are very very slim. Viz would want maybe more than want S'more can pay since the dub would have been costly and they would want to be compensated for it. But who knows maybe distrubution rights for S'more would be a possibilty making it more of a joint venture. Again alot of of pie in the sky stuff from me but well who knows.

Anyway they sound interested, to me it follows alot of why they picked up BoBo. Fully Dubbed and televised and yet not fully released.

They even questioned my suggestion of 3 sets with an answer of why not two? lol

So if you guys have any interest in the possibility of owning this amazing show on DVD then i suggest you goto S'more's Facebook page and 'Like' my post/Comment in support for the suggestion of them getting Monster from Viz.

Who knows, with enough people S'more might even try and this might even happen. Of course im not getting my hopes up by any means but then who ever thought BoBo and GE999 would ever get released.

Nothings impossible but many things come close , this is one but if we try?

so yeah follow this link if you want Monster on DVD and give S'more incentive to look into this.

New Company, First year in the Licensing Business. They Released Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo earlier this year (first half) and plan to release GE999 sometime in September (first third).

The reason i posted that message on their wall was because the reasons they gave for wanting to get Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo was because Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo was in a similar situation to how Monster is now. But the difference is Monster license is owned by Viz. Which is a BIG difference and im by no means kiddingmyself that this will happen. But again who knows maybe S'more could get distrubution rights. As ,like i expected, the show is the sort of thing it seems that S'more would be interested in given its past Tv exposure and the fact its Dubbed already.

They wouldn't be cause they exist already. The reason that happened to Bobo was that the subtitles didn't exist. So the cost to S'more was too great.

The cost of getting Monster from Viz i suspect would also be too great but again this is a case of who knows, Tell S'more you want it and you might get it. Cause Viz ain't going to give it to us.

Only one boxset was released and not the complete series.

Poor sales, I'm assuming?

I saw a portion of Monster while flipping channels and I went back, watched it for about a minute and decided "I'll give this a try." and later watched it in its entirety.

If it was the complete series in English/Japanese for a semi-reasonable price, it was a bootleg.

I really hope this gets released in its entirety on DVD. I have no doubt that it'll happen eventually since the whole thing's been dubbed.
