Does Kanto region mean it only refers to Kanto viewership and not the entirety of Japan?

Yes. But those are the ratings that matter.

it's the top market (largest concentration of views) so it carries the most stations and channels. The most money for ad revue is in in Kanto because that's where people are to watch and that's why these are the important numbers.

Lupin III seems to be doing quite well for a late night slot.

What do mean by that? Also Pokemon is just an ad for the games but called an anime show so people actually watch it. (I like Pokemon but the anime is an ad. I mostly just watch the movies, I still sometimes watch the anime)

By the way I am glad that Space Brothers (Uchū Kyōdai) and Hunter × Hunter are doing well. I hope both continue until the manga ends, especially for Space Brothers because the manga is not available in the US.

It's like New York City and Madison Avenue.

Too bad about Noitamina's drop. On the other hand, I'm glad to see Saint Seiya Omega's ratings slowly improving. I wonder if it will crack 3% soon.

A) We all know the anime was an ad for the games and the merch; it's about as shocking as prowrestling being fake(except the latter admits to it) B) He was referring to the length of the Kanto arc, nothing more.
