I was looking into buying the Volume 5 of Kanon but its so expensive everywhere I look. I figured that Funimation would print some more copies since they now have the rights but its been almost 3 months and it still says the same thing on rightstuff, "Date Available - Coming Soon, Date to be Determined." All online retailers are sold out and on the Amazon marketplace, its over 60 for a used copy.
If anyone can find a cheap New copy then I would very much appreciate the link. If not that then any information on when if or when Funimation might reprint some more copies would be nice. |

Afaik Funi hasn't announced any plans for Kanon other than the V6 single they already released. I saw ~4 copies of Kanon 5 at my local Best Buy store the other day, though. So you might want to check some B&M stores as well as online dealers.

The dvd was released about 6 months ago but I took my time in ordering the series. I never thought it would be this hard to find though. Lowest price is 46 USD on ebay but thats ridiculous for a single dvd. Though I fear that I may have to give in to complete my collection.
Unfortunately, I've already checked out my local stores and came up with nothing. I've checked out the following retailers online as well and came up with nothing. righstuff, barnes and noble, buy.com, amazon, ebay, anime castle, anime nation, dvd empire, dvd deep discount, anime corner, best buy, fye, and borders. If you seriously saw 4 copies then theres a good way to make money right there. reselling it would definitely make you some quick cash. seriously, I will even buy a copy from you. |

Hmm, well I can't confirm if my Best Buy still has but if I do see it I'll let you know. I'd be willing to send it at cost if I do find it.

I originally bought Kanon Vol 1-3 and have been waiting for 4-6 ever since. Obviously Vol 6 has been released since then, but I had no way of getting Vol 4-5. Then I was looking at Right Stuf's website and they have Vol 4 in stock again
 (Although for how long, I don't know...)
I'd be enternally grateful if someone could send me a copy of Vol 5, because I don't live in America and thus can't check out the B&M stores  I'd be able to pay by Paypal. You can see my eBay feedback to see that I'm a reputable customer etc. etc. Thanks to anyone who can help out.

I stopped by my local Best Buy again on Monday, and sure enough those 4-5 copies of Kanon 5 were still there. So if anyone from this thread is still in need of a copy, let me know and we can try to work something out.
