OMG! Like, now you'll have to spend money and stuff! Dude that sucks!

Don't even go there, show some patience and be thankful that you got the past 12 eps for free. Rolling Eyes

I'm looking forward to them releasing it, but it may take a while since it's an OAV series and they're only half way through in Japan as it is.

I'd take Dr. Slump and Hunter X Hunter first, just because I know Naruto is coming.

God I hate this attitude. You're so selfish.

This is great news! Now, those of us that are willing to pay for what we consume, in order to reward the creators and what not, can look forward to something to buy. I can also look forward to a high quality audio & video instead of 320x240 video, a decent English dub that I admitedly probably won't like as much as the Japanese dub, and something to put in my DVD collection.

I appreciate fansubbers providing me with an early look at this series, but that's all I need from them, a couple episodes to know that I want to buy the series when it comes out.

Stop complaining about not being able to get it for free anymore.

yeah FUNi does really good subs and their dubs aren't too bad, so i'd say this is pretty good news! Can't wait for it to be released.

Judging on the time that it took to transalate other anime series, the average is anywhere between 7 months to 1 year.

This is great news, samurai 7 is a quality series and im glad i can finally pay the creators for they're hard work.

Shut your damn mouth. You don't know me. I have tons of anime DVDs and they cost way too much. I'm in college and I don't have tons of money to spend 30 dollars on terrible dubs with 3 episode per disc.

And yes, I am complaining that I can't watch it for free anymore. People in Japan get to watch it by paying for cable. I pay for cable and get a lot of channels that aren't worth my time. What's the difference? Don't tell me you are excited that you finally can get to pay the creators for their work. That's ridiculous... FUNimation will be getting your money.

P.S. I hope Naruto never gets licensed. Look what 4Kids did to One Piece...
Besides, FUNimation is not that good with voice talent (ex: DragonBall, Yu Yu Hakusho, Detective Conan).

How in the hell did you get into college with that brain of yours? Think about what you just wrote.

1) I'm in college too. I spend what money I can on anime. If I don't have the money, I don't buy it. SIMPLE AS THAT. You are NOT entitled to anime, you selfish person. And who cares if you think the dubs are bad? That's why BILINGUAL DVDs were invented-- so you can watch the SUBS. What about that is so hard for you to understand?

2) Yes, I'm very excited I can pay the creators for their work. Do you know how the licensing process works? FUNimation pays the Japanese licensors a hefty sum of money so that they can release it in the US. But hey, here's a thought-- if no one bought the US DVDs, FUNimation wouldn't have any money-- which means they couldn't give more money to the Japanese creators, so they would be sorely lacking in funds.

3) For the last bloody time, 4Kids does not have Naruto. They will never have Naruto. So quit complaining about something that hasn't even happened yet.

4) BILINGUAL DVD. BILINGUAL. I'm not sure if they taught you this in high school, but bi means "two." TWO languages. Don't like the dub? Watch the sub.

Attitudes like yours make me sick. Oh, and for future reference, don't tell anyoneto "shut [his] damn mouth." We like to stay mildly civil here at ANN. There's your first and only warning.

Calm down people. It cracks me up to see editors fall this low and start fighting with some sorry college student Smile

To make this post worthy lets just say it's great news that S7 got licensed. I can't wait to see how it will look on DVD since it's produced in hi-defenition.

And for people who think that licensed anime is not fansubbed anymore you need to do little more research. You can get any anime, licensed or not for download. And as far as I know there haven't been any 320x240 resolution subs since 1998. Aren't we in 2004?
