When I first heard about this show, I was thinking, "Oh, cool! An anime about wrestling!" then I saw the characters, and I was like, "Oh, I really hope these over-the-top fanservicey characters can still deliver a good show..." And the I saw the trailer, and all hope for this was lost.

Sorry but no, seeing a female moan in agony is not a turn on for me, quite the opposite. The rack was nice, but the pointless abuse is not. I would not mind some hot fighting action, heck, I do not mind every time they rip Rana's arm(s) in Freezing 'cause spoiler[ know they will reattach them latter] and it shows the fights are really brutal (even more than most DBZ fights) But inflicting pain (even if it is another woman delivering it) just so we hear them moan and cry and beg and sweat is the lowest in my book. It irks me to no avail that for a little moment the title made me hopeful for an instant, but truth be told no female will become stronger in this show, unless they are fighting to see who has the strongest moan. |

Since both links were removed (I've sent messages and emails asking them to stop using freaking prudetube), here it is on nico:
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21544212 It seems like something just made for a PV. Aren't they breaking the 4th wall and describing the anime and asking you to watch?
It seems in line with how live TV female pro-wrestling is to me. I think some people might be confusing female pro-wrestling with sport wrestling. I saw bits of the manga, but I would need to see more of show itself, because..
I have high hopes! At least they do have the pro-wrestling, on-the-ropes, agonizing part down from right, with maybe a little S&M twist |

I'm so sick of the Queen's Blade hate. It's got great art, animation, character development, and plot. It also boasts one of the most impressive voice casts of any show, with the top notch seiyuu giving some of their best performances. But it has nudity and ecchi themes in it, so it's automatically complete useless garbage that only the scum of the Earth would consider watching.
Just cause there's boobs doesn't mean it's trash; grow up people -_-; |

You can...certainly continue having those opinions.
Just remember that a lot of the critics of your favorite show have not watched as much of it as you have. You can at least find some peace with that. |

I'm dying over this quote. Now all this anime needs is some mud. After all it's female wrestling with fanservice. Why can't we get some anime that has females wrestling and actually kicking ass without the obligatory fanservice. I know I said what I said about Dragon's Crown but to be honest for show like this it gets tiresome. The only series I'll except for fanservice and fighting is Variable Geo. In a way it's like "porn" without the sex. Oh well, I may check this out but chances are I'll pass on this like I did with Ikkitousen after a few episodes. See I don't go in blind I already know what I'm getting but I'll give it a chance. |

That's not the new one. Just search Sekai De Ichiban on Youtube. I'm not posting it again, since the first one got deleted. |

Yes well, it would be nice if people would actually watch the things they use as examples. Anyway, finally watched the PV and...wow those moans. Taketatsu saikyou. |

I love Queens Blade as schlocky fun. But this is just terribly animated. At least QB has good animation and action. Tiger Mask 81 should not have more impressive wrestling. Then again, Tiger Mask is the freaking man. |

Obviously a show with some actual pro wrestling moves would be welcome. I like women and I like pro wrestling (though not as much as I used to). It would be awesome to get a wrestling equivalent of Air Master, though. That show managed to balance fan service with good fights and a believably tough heroine. Or if you're going for the non-kayfabe route, they could treat pro wrestling like performance art in a similar way as Kaleido Star. I'd wanna see that! Young green wrestler with promise looking up to the veteran aloof wrestler to teach her the ropes... girl-love ensues!
Man, I wish Air Master had a proper DVD release. I think female pro wrestling is really underrated in Japan. There are a lot of great female pro wrestlers in Japan, and whenever they come to U.S. as guests they really show fans here how much more they treat it like an art, rather than just lowbrow entertainment. There's a lot more technical moves and grappling in Japanese pro wrestling than pro wrestling in the U.S. Last edited by bravetailor on Thu Aug 08, 2013 7:55 pm; edited 2 times in total |

It's hard to conclude on the animation, since it was only one scene where not of lot of animation would have happened regardless. Gonna need some more previews. |
