Has anyone spoken to FUNimation in, say, the last week to see what was going on? I'm patient, but I would just like to know if it [Blue Gender box set] is still delayed or not.

No, but the person in charge of the contest answered this same question with an "I'll put an answer here as soon as I hear back from them" last week.
I also don't read every thread in this forum every single day... in fact, I don't read most threads in the forums, no time. I'm sorry it's taking so long, I would have hoped that you would have gotten your prizes within a week or two of the contest. I understand that your anxious, but trust me, as soon as I hear something from FUNi I'll post it here. They may not have anything to tell me as it stands, so I am not going to badger them for an answer, I left two messages this week, it's enough. |

Damaged? Damnit, I packaged those things in padded envelopes... I guess I'll have to find something a bit more sturdy from now on. |

No, the packaging was fine and I think you did a great job. The DVD box itself was only very slightly damaged (I shouldn't have mentioned it at all). It's not your fault but the postal workers.

Just heard back from them. FUNimation received the DVDs finally (they were backordered from the warehouse or replicator) and will be shipping them out this week. I am very surry to everyone who had to wait to get their Blue Gender sets. Please understand that neither ANN, nor the PR people at FUNimation had any idea it would take this long. -t |
