Brad Bird has had the idea for The Incredibles for years, it's just that no one would produce it until Pixar came along.

It's depressing to know that it's possible for two good movies to win an award? GitS2 is a good movie, but it's not the only good movie out there, and doesn't need any award to justify it's quality. Mind you, neither do Shrek 2 or The Incredibles. (Now, if Shark Tale won, that'd be pretty depressing.)


Well, I could easily see "The Incredibles" winning, but I have a personal thing towards "Shrek." ^^()
