Ghost in the Shell up for Four Awards, While Yoko Kanno is up for One
The nominations for the 32nd Annual Annie Awards were announced yesterday (December 6th).
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence itself is nominated for 1 award, while its staff are up for 3 individual awards. The movie is nominated for the most prestigeous award of all, "Best Animated Feature," while director Mamoru Oshii is nominated for "Directing in an Animated Feature Production." Also nominated for indivisual individual nominations are Hisashi Ezura, for "Animated Effects" and Kenji Kawai for "Music in an Animated Feature Production."
Yoko Kanno has been nominated for the award for "Music in an Animated Television Production" for her work on Wolf's Rain.
