Inuyasha and Wolf's Rain. Remember Venture Bros. premieres in August, and its first season will be done by November.

Right, ok, that makes a little more sense then. The way they were writing it sounds like it was because of the movie that they'd be moving everything back, but really they're probably doing the change anyway, but where they'd be showing Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain, and Venture Brothers, they're showing the "movie" and then back to regular the following week. Sounds right, but we know how quirky Cartoon Network is with schedules...

Amen to that.

I mean, why can't they be like the two major anime networks; Anime Unleashed and ADV's Anime Network. Or atleast they can have a "Prime Time Anime" lineup.

I second that. CN has the strangest schedcule(?) I've seen! Why do they do it? Confused

But this is the best info I've heard ever! I can't wait for the movie and I've been wanting to watch Read or Die for ages! It's hard to find anime where I live. Sad

Althrough, I did read awhile back in Anime Insider that the first InuYasha movie was going to get a receive a theatrical release. Plans must have changed. Oh, well. It would have been nice to see it on screen, but I'll take what I can. Very Happy

It feels like it because we get news of their schedules 5 months in advance.

personoly, i don't like tech tv's anime scedule... it's so weird... i'll see 3 episodes of one series and then i see anime unleased on again later and i'll see some different anime series on... it's almost like they just show random episodes... and anime network is on demand... and i don't like them much either... if they are on demand then i don't get why they just don't keep up all the episodes insted of changing whats there all the time... anyways, i like cartoon netowrk's scendue because it's a big block at the same time every mon - thurs and then another block at the same time on saturday and sunday... totally unconfusing and organised, i only remeber 2 times that they screwed up time slots... the big o repeat episode (due to a mislabeled tape) and the whole trigun insident... give adult swim a little bit more credit...

Well, some of their titles are that short (Gatekeepers 21, for example). I was a faithful follower of Anime Unleashed until Comcast murdered TechTV (*ahem*), so at least until then they ran every series from start to finish. The only problems they had were a seemingly random rotation of series and the inability to properly inform us which one was next in line until the day it started (resulting in me missing Banner of the Stars an untold number of times).

It was a pretty good little anime block, actually. But then, TechTV was a pretty good little network until...

That wouldn't work. They don't exactly have enough popular anime to make it successful enough in the ratings.

Let's hope that the full-time Anime Network goes over well in the Heartland so that we can stop all this whining.

Amen to that. And G4TechTV seems to be trying to make its broadcast anime shorter than before. Have you heard the opening theme to "Last Exile" on G4TechTV? It sounds horribly choppy, almost as if they took out a fraction of a second in every beat.
