Well, I'm satisfied with how that wrapped up, I think. The fishing scene was really good, and spoiler[I'm glad it didn't have a downer ending after all that.]

Loved the finale and the show overall. It seems like every season there's a slice-of-life show that really pleasantly surprises me with how well done it is, and this was this season's. I'm sad we're finished inhabiting this world but happy with how it wrapped up.

I also really liked reading Steve's reviews every week and was glad that we were in agreement that this show was gay as hell. Tsunehiro and Takaaki had the best love story of the season.

I liked it all the way through and I was satisfied with the ending! I'm glad it wasn't tragic because it wouldn't have fit the rest of the show in my opinion.

I also think it would have been better if it was even gayer Laughing

Highly disagree about the complaint. We already had that girl being gay for Hana, we didn't need Hiro and Takaaki being gay as well.

It's more powerful just being friends. Hiro was extremely depressed and just because a guy helped him out of it and made him appreciate life doesn't mean he has to be gay for him. I'm the type of guy like Takaaki and not gay for any of my male friends, I just deeply care about them like a family. Hiro was a replacement of his lost brother. Adding romance to that would shit all over it.
