she's right though, the news states that the actor would be "starring" in the live-action, but at any moment they mentioned he would be acting as Eren we don't even know if they're planning to follow the original story or create an AU one |

People can say this about anything. But at the end of the day you can't trust Hollywood to do a manga justice because manga doesnt appeal to mainstream audiences, and they will gut a movie apart in order to market it to mainstream audiences. They already do it for comic books. Dragonball Z is the most mainstream anime in the US and look how that still turned out and had to be tweaked. |
